This year's brunch promises to be extraordinary, featuring a star-studded guest list that will leave the AFL industry green with envy. We're thrilled to have Collingwood legend and Brownlow medallist Nathan Buckley, the four-time premiership Hawk Jordan Lewis, former Saints favourite and Collingwood premiership hero Luke Ball, and Bulldogs premiership captain Easton Wood in attendance.

2023’s Spud’s Lunch event aimed to inspire attendees through valuable insight, with an impressive roster of thought leaders and industry innovators, including Emma Murray, founder of High Performance Mindfulness, Jason Dunstall, host of Fox Sport’s Bounce, and Garry Lyon, host of On the Couch. The funds raised contributed to supporting the mental fitness programs at the Danny Frawley Centre.

We heard from two key leaders Brett Godfrey (Virgin Australia) and Danny O’Brien (Melbourne Cup winning horse trainer) who have contributed so much to their respective industries and have a proven track record in building businesses from the ground up.

The inaugural Spud’s Lunch was held at Centrepiece where we heard from a range of high-profile, industry experts such as Ben Crowe (Leadership mentor and life coach expert) & Gillon McLachlan (AFL) , hosted by Alicia Loxley (Journalist and Nine news presenter).

In an intimate sit-down lunch, we heard how Lord Mayor of Melbourne Sally Capp has led the City of Melbourne through the COVID-19 pandemic and how she has championed a re-opening of the city after a devastating few years.
